Conscientious Projector’s latest monthly film screening will feature ‘American Blackout’
By Justin Chapman, Pasadena Weekly, 2/8/2007
Conscientious Projector’s latest monthly film screening is at a new location — the Armory Center for the Arts — and will feature “American Blackout,” which won the Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 2006 and focuses on the disenfranchisement of black voters in the last two rigged presidential elections, er, Bush “victories.”
After the screening, there will be a community discussion co-sponsored by All Saints Sustainable World Ministry and the Center for the Theatre of the Oppressed.
